Jackie Newcomer's Bio:

Jackie Newcomer is proficient in a variety of media and possesses a remarkable talent as well as the infinite patience that an artist must have to excel when the "canvas" is a wall in a hospital, the nose of a World War II fighter plane or the exterior walls of a theme park! In addition to the beautiful paintings she creates, she enjoys putting her creative abilities to work as design manager on projects such as the exterior "theme design" for the Six Flags theme park in Texas. To describe Newcomer as a versatile artist would be an understatement. In her career to date she has taught high school art, worked as Art Director, Graphic Designer, and was commissioned to recreate World War II nose art on airplanes at the Lone Star Flight Museum. She has been commissioned for a 6000 linear foot wall graphic for the Shriner's Burn Center in Galveston, TX and a 45 foot wall graphic for the Cardiac Rehab Center of Memorial City Hospital in Houston, TX. In addition, Newcomer has established her own design firm that has been in operation for more than ten years.
