Judy Robertus's Bio:Judy Robertus finds inspiration from the beauty of landscapes in Utah, Montana, and Washington. Her watercolors and pastels introduce the viewer to the serenity she finds in the rivers and wild vegetation throughout the region. It is her belief that the art enriches life and encourages one to notice the beauty of Nature.
Her painting journey began 25 years ago with classes she took at the University of Utah. Living in Montana, she studied with Billing’s artists, Elliot Eaton and Marilyn Beth Hughes. After moving to Washington, she studied watercolor with Kathryn Kaye in Richland, and most recently, in Dayton and Walla with pastel artists Leslie Cain and Bonnie Griffith. Her work has been accepted in various juried shows and in the Summer of 2009, she took home the Eastern Washington Watercolor Society award during a juried art show.
Judy’s work is now on display at the Wenaha Gallery and Weinhard Hotel in Dayton, Washington, at Darrah’s Framing and Decorator Center in Walla Walla, Washington and the Purple Sage Gallery in Billings, Montana. She is currently a member of the Allied Arts Gallery in Richland, Washington and the Blue Mountain Artists Guild in Dayton, Washington. |
